eBay Canada are holding a cheap listing day on 23rd September. Insertion fees for auctions only are reduced to 5c, so long as you’re a Canadian-resident seller, and you specify shipping prices. Media items, which have their own fee tariff, are also included.

eBay Australia has announced the roll-out of anonymised emails between eBay members. Pre-sale ASQs will no longer show the sender’s email address, but will instead be sent with a temporary eBay-based email address. French unions representing postal workers have called a one day strike for tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd September. They are protesting against planned changes by La Poste which they say will mean the privatisation of the postal service and could lead to the loss of up to 300,000 jobs, more than 50% of La Poste’s workforce.

PayPal transactions reversed without warning September 21 2008 at 7:10 AM

I’ve had a bizarre problem with PayPal payments over the last week or so. Certain payments have been - apparently at random - reversed in my PayPal account and the money returned to the buyer, without any action from me or from the buyer. They’ve all been related to eBay purchases, and in every case, I’ve had the payment email from PayPal but no email about the reversal.
