>>> Who We Are

First, a bit about Causemedia Group (our Parent Company)…

Causemedia Group exists to help non-profits raise awareness and funds, and to help celebrities and corporations get public recognition for the good they do in the world.  Our team has run over 500 cause-branded campaigns since 2001, and raised over $25 million for charities worldwide. All while securing billions of media impressions for the Brands, Celebrities, and Non-Profits we represent. Through the web properties and agencies we own and operate we’ll continue to deliver technology, tools, and services to promote social good.

So, now that you know that…

WhatGives!? is the most recent addition to the Causemedia Group, and one we’re very excited to finally have in place.  During the 8 years that we’ve been creating and executing cause campaigns, we’ve watched this new form of philanthropy evolve at an incredible rate.  So many organizations, companies, agencies, and individuals are doing great work and we wanted to talk about it!  So we launched WhatGives!? as a place for the Causemedia Group team to do just that.

From time to time, you’ll see us touting campaigns run by other companies in the Causemedia Group family: For instance, Kompolt runs many of the celebrity charity auctions that you see on eBay, while StudioGood runs social media campaigns that bring causes and brands together on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere.

But mostly we’ll be talking about other campaigns and causes we find interesting, because we want WhatGives!? to be the online hub where consumers and donors can find out more about the causes they care about.  We want to provide tools and information for non-profits that they can use to raise money and awareness.  We want to encourage more people to get involved.  We want to spread the word about how social media can work for social good.  And we’ve boiled that down to one simple phrase:

Do something good.  Tell people about it.  Do it again.

The WhatGives!? Team

> Chris Noble
President

Chris is the CEO of Causemedia Group.  He’s worked in software for about 15 years, and he’s taken companies public and stuff. But before that he went door-to-door for causes he cared about.  So that’s all right.  His goal is to make it easier for non-profits to raise money.
