Patricia Arquette, co-founder of The Give Love Foundation, models the Hope,
Love and Healing for Haiti necklace – sales of which will benefit earthquake victims.
It’s been four months since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, which killed at least 250,000 people. While the cataclysm is over, its aftermath continues to pervade the land. Many of the survivors have no suitable places to live, which is why intrepid actress-activist Patricia Arquette and designer Rosetta Getty founded The Give Love Foundation, a Haiti relief initiative working to rebuild homes and communities for this country in crisis.
Earlier this month, Arquette raised $100,000 for Give Love, which is focusing on re-purposing shipping containers into safe, comfortable living spaces engineered to withstand the tropical weather as well as earthquakes. In the 50-unit community being built at Bois Neuf Field in Citi Soleil ecologically sound sanitation and water filtration systems will also be created.
Now Arquette is adding even more shine to her humanitarian crusade by teaming up with Satya Jewelr
y to offer a special sterling silver Hope, Love, & Healing for Haiti necklace. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Give Love. In March, Satya Jewelry donated $20,000 to Give Love through the Satya Foundation, and will continue to raise funds for the initiative.
